Shizuku .. use it or skip it?

I’ve been seeing a lot of buzz around Shizuku lately, especially since it’s not easily available on play store anymore.

So I want real opinions: Should we use Shizuku or not?

If YES — why? What real benefits does it offer day-to-day? Is it useful for normal users or only power users? Does it actually replace the need for root? Any must-have apps that depend on it?

If NO — why avoid it? Security or privacy concerns? Overhyped tool with limited real use?

Main concern: safety Is it safe on a primary phone with: banking apps 🏦 work apps 💼 payment apps 💳 Could it interfere with app safety policies

Would you trust it on your main phone or keep it on a secondary one?

Long-press home → Google Lens → select area.

Earlier I used to get:

  • Select text. And
  • Share option

Now it only shows Select text.

This was super useful for quick partial screenshots. Did Google remove this or is there a setting to enable it back?

Any help would be great - this was one of my most-used shortcuts.
