A month or two back, I posted about a Sette pinky ring that I really liked. Unfortunately, the ring from Sette was two tone. I literally avoid white gold like the plague. 1. It doesn’t look good on me, and 2. I am severely allergic to nickel. So, if I want something in white gold, I would need them to use palladium instead of nickel to get the while color.

There were other things I wanted changed as well. The original ring is 4.5mm and 1.8mm thick. This ring is 6mm and 2.2mm thick. Happy at Starsgem was able to fulfill my requirements and it came in way under budget. It’s approximately 9.1g 14k. I can’t wait for her to arrive. She’s a whole beast of a pinky ring. Size: 3.5 US

The long awaited earring jackets arrived. They have been finished for a while, but aunt wanted some things and so I just waited to have it all shipped at the same time. Happy at Starsgem knocked this out of the park. I gave her the inspiration photo, but worried about the original’s being entirely too small for my studs. Well, Happy made my studs so she pulled up the CAD and had the designer create balance. They are beyond what I expected, and at .98ct each, they aren’t huge, but they also aren’t dwarfed by my 4cttw studs. I’m extremely happy with them. Once again, Happy has made me happy.

She gets that I prefer more gold. She has never sent me a CAD with anything lightweight. Even these jackets are almost 4g of 14k yellow gold. That is way more gold used than most earrings, but it shows. They are incredibly well made, perfectly polished and substantial. I screamed when I opened them!
