Like lots of dudes, I used to avoid karaoke, but after deploying to East Asia a few times, the locals hard converted me from “kArAoKe’S nOt ReAlLy My ThInG 🥴” to “Where’s the goddamn mic?👨🏻🎤”
As for my karaoke skills: I’m not a great singer but do firmly believe that, at its best, karaoke isn’t as much about musical talent as it is about having a grade-A, certified blast.
