I went out to water a sunflower that grew from some bird seed and saw this guy in the dark. Definitely a great way to end the night.

Random pack of bacon not cooking normally

I've been cooking bacon and eggs for breakfast every day for a while now, but a couple of days ago I opened a new pack and it just wouldn't cook normally.

When I put it in the pan it just kind of shrivelled up and the fat wouldn't melt like it usually does. Even if I held it down with the spatula It just kind of burnt to the bottom of the pan. I know the heat was correct because the eggs cooked normally and every other pack from the same brand has cooked perfectly under the exact same conditions.

Does anybody know what could have caused this? I'm assuming that it was just a bad batch or something but it would be nice to hear some other ideas in case it happens again in the future.

I just realised that sniper isn’t supposed to have armour on his upper arms

Apparently eliminators just have no armour between the elbow and shoulder.

Some more accurate versions of the armour presets

  1. Dark angels: added company markings to the left knee, added correct squad markings on right shoulder, and changed the aquilla to wraithbone.

  2. Space wolves: added correct unit markings to right shoulder and knee and switched the runelord brass to retributor armour to better represent the newer models.

  3. Space sharks: removed the company marking from the right knee, added a white face, changed the “bronze” trim to retributor armour, and made the eyes black to better represent how they looked in imperial armour.

  4. Exorcists: changed the red to khorne red, changed the aquilla to wraithbone, changed the trim on the pauldrons to black, and changed the decals to wraithbone to to better represent how they looked in imperial armour.

  5. Preators of Orpheus: changed the armour to corax white instead of wraithbone, changed the blue to teclis blue, and added a company/squad marking to the left knee.

  6. Death spectres: changed the warpfiend grey armour to abaddon black and changed the company marking to black (although both are accurate, I just wanted to replicate the specific artwork).

  7. Void tridents: changed the kantor blue armour to alaitoc blue, changed the corax white shoulders to ushabti bone, and added a marking to left knee.

  8. Black templars: changed the aquilla from wraithbone to retributor armour, removed the markings from the knees, and added a squad marking to the right knee (I know that pretty much anything goes with black templars, but I just wanted it to look liken the new models).

Does anybody else find Retributor armour really annoying? The base version and the trim version aren’t even the same colour.

Every time I try to play minotaurs I think “it’s probably not as bad as I remember” and it’s always so much worse. Why is the base version pink tinted?

I feel like Saber should just get rid of squad unity. I have literally never seen anyone say anything good about it.
