Am I the only one that is bothered by how customers act?

I don't mean the occasional nut job or the Karen's but the overwhelming crappy treatment of late. We have had a few suicides in the last year or two because of customer behavior and the staff is borderline afraid of answering the phone anymore due to how hateful the callers get. I normally can't even go a single shift at my home store without some sort of abuse that could be considered a hate crime in any other industry.

Is this happening anywhere else
