Sunglasses: Grey Polarized or Black Iridium

To me it seems the biggest difference will be the light transmission (17% vs 11%).

Has anyone regretted going with one and not the other? Want to ensure I order the right ones since the prescription lens isn’t cheap.

I’ll wear them playing golf, driving, etc. We’re in Europe, many cloudy days, which makes me think the Grey Polarized might be the way to go. But if they have a purple-ish look/tint to them I’m not so sure.

X3 or X5 for family?

Looking at 2026 models. The X3 30xDrive with nearly the same features (minus engine) is about $17k difference at my local dealer. No issues on affordability for us but the X3 being 75% the cost is appealing. Maybe the X3 M50 is worth a thought for the B58 which sits halfway between the X3 30xDrive and the X5 xDrive40i.

Family: 2 adults (5’11 and 5’6), 4 year old, 2 year old

Rough dimensions on the X5 show about 1” more legroom and 3-4” wider for the 2nd row, and maybe 10% more cargo room. Obviously the X5 is the superior SUV, more quiet and with more power. But is the X5 space necessary as the kids get a little older? Full car will be about 25% of the miles, otherwise a 1 person work commuter.
