I never really imagined I would be making a post like this, but I’m in a situation where I could genuinely use some help.

My father passed away earlier this year, and since July I’ve been dealing with the financial consequences of his death. A large part of the credit card debt I’m carrying came directly from paying for his funeral and burial. I didn't have the money available at the time, so I had to put those expenses on my credit card.

Since then, I’ve been rolling the balance over every month and making payments whenever I can, but the interest keeps adding up. I’m essentially paying every month without being able to make meaningful progress toward clearing the debt.

The total amount I’m trying to raise is $2,000 USD. I know that’s a significant amount, and I absolutely don't expect one person to cover it.

Losing my father has been difficult enough emotionally, and having this financial burden hanging over me every month has made things considerably harder. I’m just hoping to get to a point where I can finally pay off the debt from his funeral and burial and start moving forward.
