Vibration slight grind between gear

2015 Crest pontoon with 115 Mercury 4 stroke. When shifting from neutral to forward or reverse there is some resistance and you can feel some vibration maybe a grind if you try to ease the shift. Is this normal or do I need to be more deliberate with the shift and not try to baby it?

I’m anew to boating and the videos I have been watching the shifts seem to more of smooth click in and out of gear.

2015 Crest 230 with Mercury 115 4 stroke motor only maxing out at 4200 rpm and 17-18 mph

My brief research shows this motor should be maxing out around 5-6k rpm and in the low 20’s mph. We have 6 adults and 3 children on board.

To my untrained ear the motor sounds like it’s running good. The pee hole is flowing and I do not believe it is in limp mode “guardian mode” as mercury calls it as there are no alarms.

It seems I’m leaving some power on the table. What should be the first and easiest things to look at?

Is arc HDMI sufficient for a 3.1/5.1 sound bar

My tv only has an arc hdmi. I have no intentions of adding rear surround speakers. All of my video will come from streaming services. Am I over thinking the need for eARC hdmi?

Yamaha True X 40a vs Polk Signa S4

I have narrowed my search down to these two bars. I am not looking for other suggestions.

I can get either of these bars for $200. The Yamaha is new and the Polk is open box.

Am I right in thinking the Polk is the better bar with the 3.1 option and wireless sub?

I am looking at the Ultimea Poseidon M60 but I’m not a fan of the wired subwoofer. I don’t want the cable hanging down the wall.

I have a HDMI cable already behind the wall and I was looking at RCA/HDMI converters.

My question is how is the compatibility between the single RCA plug of the sub and the red/white/yellow RCA plugs on the converters. I would need a converter on both ends of the HDMI. What issues will I have from going RCA to HDMI back to RCA? What color plug would I use to and from the converter?
