Hey everyone, I made a new account after deleting my old one following all the backlash around my KinzTracker app.

I wanted to say I’m sorry if I reacted negatively or emotionally during everything. I put a huge amount of time and effort into this app, and I think I got overwhelmed because it felt like people didn’t really understand how much work went into making it.

I also want to clarify the $1.99 charge. The plan was never to permanently paywall the app. The charge was there to help cover fees while I distributed it to everyone, and after that my intention was to make it free. Nobody really asked me directly about it before assumptions started spreading, and I should’ve communicated that more clearly from the beginning.

I also saw a recent post with a lot of people defending me in the comments, and I genuinely appreciate those of you who gave me the benefit of the doubt or tried to understand where I was coming from.

As for the AI topic, I know a lot of people have strong feelings about AI because of how it affects artists and image creation, and I completely understand why people are cautious about it. But using AI as a coding tool feels very different to me. I should’ve been more upfront about using it, but honestly I was nervous because I already knew the community was very against AI, and after seeing the reaction, I guess that fear wasn’t completely unfounded.

Still, I love the Webkinz community, and I don’t want this situation to define everything. So I’m making another account and trying again, just in a more laid-back way this time.

Sorry to anyone who felt misled. I just hope people might take another look at what happened with a little more understanding.
