I'm a 2026 B.Tech CSE graduate and I'm struggling to get interview opportunities.

I have been applying through different job platforms, but so far, I haven't received any proper job interview calls. The only calls I receive are for paid internships and paid training programs.

Could fellow graduates or working professionals please share:

Which platforms are best for getting fresher job interviews?

Where can I find genuine entry-level opportunities?

Are there any lesser-known websites or platforms I should

try?

What is the best way to approach companies as a fresher?

What actually helped you get your first interview?

I am a 2026 B.Tech CSE graduate struggling to get my first job. Despite applying through LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed, and other platforms, I receive almost no responses—mostly calls from training institutes.

I feel extremely stressed and have started losing confidence. I am continuously trying to upskill through YouTube, but I feel stuck. Seeing friends, even those with backlogs, get jobs while I remain unemployed has made me question my abilities.

This situation has affected me so much that I didn't even attend my graduation ceremony. I was not in the right mental state to celebrate my graduation while feeling like I had achieved nothing.

I qualified GATE 2026 in my first attempt under OBC with just the minimum qualifying marks, but I rejected the available M.Tech options because they were not the colleges I wanted. My first priority was always getting a job, and I had never seriously planned for M.Tech because I thought it was mainly for teaching.

Now I am considering preparing seriously for GATE again and aiming for a much better score and college.

1. 2026 B.Tech CSE graduate currently without a job.

2. Applied to many companies but getting very few responses.

3. Feeling stressed, mentally exhausted, and losing confidence.

4. Upskilling continuously but unsure whether I am focusing on the right things.

5. Qualified GATE 2026 with the minimum qualifying marks under OBC.

6. Considering preparing again for a much GATE score and a better college.

7. Want to understand the advantages and career opportunities GATE can provide, including PSU/government jobs.
