full frame equivalent of 600mm.. did pretty decent. autofocus didn't seem to want to latch on unless there was an eye in frame.. if not, i had to manually get it there and then it would lock. not sure if i was doing something wrong or if its just really dependent on eyes.

first time birding. things can move quick which was a challenge. i tried to stick with 1/2000.. ISO was auto and varied between 320-2500.. f/5.6 with the 2x Tele

some of these are still cropped... 600mm still isn't enough at times haha

This is a cheater bike.

Not that this video is indicative of such, but this was the tail end of a 4 hour ride that had a LOT of stuff that I had no business riding over, around, and up. I'm a novice dirt rider at best and when things got technical, I had no issues keeping up with my buddies on gas bikes who are way more experienced than me. Particularly in loose climbs where this thing just tractors up stuff at any speed, rpm, throttle input ya like. No feathering clutches, no breaking traction with the rear and losing momentum. You're always in the right "gear" always in the powerband and stalling? psht, never heard of her.

I ran it in 30hp mode which was plenty for enduro type riding and after 4 hours of nearly non stop riding, I came back to my truck with 56% battery. I'm well aware that at full tilt, 80hp the battery will drain pretty quickly, but when I'm out on techy single track I have ZERO range anxiety.

I love this bike.

was dropping my other bike off at the LBS for some service and they had this Krampus sitting on the floor. i'm rather tall at 6'5" so finding XL's or XXL's that don't need to be special ordered is usually a challenge. seemed like fate that they had an XL on sale on the floor. i've been looking at some light bikepacking/commuting/coffee shop rides and was initially looking at $6k titanium rigids... but that's overkill for just starting in this niche. the Krampus fit the budget and the niche perfectly. i had some tan grips sitting around that i swapped on.. probably swap the green pedals to a brown to match.

can't wait to put some miles on it.
