I somehow managed to lose this book in the depths of my Goodreads. All I remember is that it's a guy and his daughter who moved out to the countryside and he nearly falls off a ladder and his neighbor lectures him. I do know that at some point she gets a purple pair of cowboy boots.
edit: I just remembered the love interest is the poet laureate and he ends up saving the daughter from bee stings.
