Sometimes it feels like a fever dream, but growing up we had Sky Angel TV which was supposed to be a “safe, family friendly” option to watch TV. Channels like PAX, TVU, 3ABN, CBN, KTV, etc.

Did anyone else have or remember this? I remember TVU so well because they played Christian music videos and introduced me to rock music. Definitely served as a gateway into the music I love today. I can’t find half of these things when I Google it so sometimes I think I’m making all of this up lol. Please tell me someone else remember.

It’s been years and years since I’ve consumed any sort of Christian media outside of music, but I find a certain nostalgia listening to and remembering those bands from time to time. I remember being banned from listening to it because it wasn’t Christian enough.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else remembers Sky Angel, and specifically TVU.

My kid is 2 and has been accepted to a Montessori school. She is scheduled to start in September. Unfortunately, I have had to enroll her in a traditional day care due to child care changes. I’m worried that this may make the transition to Montessori harder for her. Outside of continuing to practice Montessori in the home, are there any other things I can do?
