Anyone interested in learning a new sport? [SELLING]
Hey Chicago-
My name is Ben and I’ve been playing table tennis on and off for over 20 years. I’ve always had a passion for learning and teaching and just recently lucked into a large space where I could fit a table tennis studio. This is a professional level set up where you can learn the real deal- the type of table tennis you might see in the Olympics or on TikTok.
Growing up I was obsessed with ping pong but only ever really played in grandpa’s basement. Finally my dad happened to find not only a coach, but the US junior coach and developmental coach of the year teaching in our hometown! I was 15 and all the sudden ping pong was new again. I played and progressed until college and then was only ever able to play on and off for many years.
Within the last few years I decided to get very much back into it and started coaching. Having a space like this of my own has been a dream of mine. I’ve put a lot of thought into putting it together. It’s not perfect, but the bones are good:
Tons of space (the student’s side has 25 feet in length and 18 in width), high-end table tennis specific flooring (the gray stuff in the pics), tall ceilings, professional table, good lighting, central air, and extras like: an available shower (not something offered in the vast majority of table tennis clubs), towels, fast-chargers, water dispenser, fridge, table tennis robot, and a cute dog to cheer you on. Not to mention, the place has pretty awesome views of the city (not pictured).
Open to adult beginners and intermediates, the private studio is located on the border of the South Loop/East Pilsen/Chinatown. Send me a DM if you’re interested or have any questions.
Ben
