It is confirmed that Netflix will be releasing the weekly series: Dragon Ball Super Beerus from Oct 17 onwards.

Dragon Ball will be taking over One Piece's prime time TV slot in Japan. Toei has decided to replace One Piece's prime time TV slot which is the best in Japan with Dragon Ball. This signals the importance and potential demand for Dragon Ball Super: Beerus as an anime and IP.

The anime is confirmed to be streaming on Crunchyroll and scheduled to release episodes weekly.

We finally have the pack art reveal for FB12. FB12 is significant because it's Dragon Ball Super's first anime TCG pack. This is the first ever tcg release alongside the return of the anime.

FB12 is going to be the most important tcg set since SB01 and SB02 since it's the first set that's tied to an airing anime in Fusion World's history.

As we know, Fusion World released during the long hiatus of DB's anime and there has been no official anime content released since then. Now we have the first show that will bring back tens of millions to hundreds of millions of fans back and introduced to the IP. This is a milestone that will be remembered in FW's entire history and a big shift in the public image about DB.

There has always been this comment by One Piece TCG fans that DB is a weak IP TCG because it doesn't have an airing show that will continue to funnel in fans into the tcg. Now that's about to change with the release of the Beerus anime that runs October-December and FB12 later on in December of this year that's right before the climax of the series which will bring in much hype and momentum.

There was a recent post made by someone that showed how DB's search interest only began trending up and surpassing One Piece in 2015 when the anime restarted with DB Super and how it continued climbing up until its peak when the anime ended in 2018. I think a new trend is about to begin with Toei Animation's $450m investment into producing 10-years of content for Dragon Ball. Starting with the Beerus anime and FB12.
