I’m looking for any stories that involve a protagonist becoming the antagonist and the antagonist becoming the protagonist. I’m looking more for Fantasy or SciFi. Preferably a series.

I’m not talking like a standalone story that has a climactic ending that causes one character to make a moral decision that changes your outlook of the characters. I’m talking like a story that follows the two characters possibly from an origins standpoint where we actually have defined roles of this character being the protagonist. One where we actually follow whole stories or books where this character is firmly supplanted as our Protagonist and then by the end of the series he has actually become the Antagonist of the global overarching saga. Like if you could imagine that the Star Wars movies were actually released with a chronological timeline. We would begin with Anakin as our hero and then obviously we know where that ends. But I don’t want it to be told non linearly. I want to see examples of the transformation done well over time throughout a series.

I will soon be having to buy my first pump replacement. I currently have a Pentair SuperFlo VS pump. It’s probably 3-5 years old so I imagine it has run its course. I’m currently just hoping to keep this thing going through the pool season. I’m currently having to deal with error code 0021 on a daily basis. Pump is constantly cutting off then back on and so on. I’ve switched over to a routine where I only run it through the night to relieve it of some of the stress of overheating.

So as a first time pump buyer (just bought the house a year ago) I wanted to seek some beginners advice.

Are pool pumps one of those things where I pretty much just need to reconcile with the fact that it’s going to cost me a few grand through my local pool store? Or are there better options out there in terms of price? If there are, is it acceptable to buy your own pump then ask the pool store to install it or is it one of those situations where if I’m going to do that I might as well just buy it through them?

Any and all insight is appreciated. If there’s anything you wish you would have known before your last purchase let me know. Those are the types of things I want to consider before purchasing. TIA.
