Broadview is a scam

Echoing previous posts on here -- do not stay at the BroadView.

I too saw these posts and ended up living there just because it was the cheapest option for someone living alone and wanted to be close to school. Complaints I often saw were that it was small / expensive for what it is, and the parking is a bit of a walk away. These were all things I thought I could deal with. Below are complaints I did not hear about but severely impacted my year living there.

The management is so rude for no reason -- they're vicious and hungry like you owe them for staying there. Maintenance takes forever.

The apartment is literally a cardboard box. The construction of the building is new but awful quality. So for months I heard every single move my upstairs neighbor made. Like, exactly where in the they were stepping, what they were doing, whether they were vacuuming etc.

Lastly, they say it's rent per month, but actually they charge you full month's rent for the last month you stay (even if your lease is over before the end of the month), so you're losing out.

And you think because its Vandy affiliated they'd be nicer/more benevolent -- but they're so much worse than any other apartment building management I've encountered in Nashville.

(TN) Signed a lease with way higher value of concessions than agreed upon.. what are my next steps?

Hello,

I recently realized my upcoming lease listed over 10K in concessions when the agreed upon concession was 3 months of free rent (around 6K total). I've gone over the lease and this figure is mentioned as well as the fact that this is to be used during specific months of July, Aug, and September 2026. 10K was also mentioned in an email the manager sent me, however when she was calculating my pro-rated rent for me it was accurate according to 3 months of free rent.

My question is do I have a chance of getting 10K in concessions? Seeing as the understanding was for 3 months of free rent, this is clerical typo so will they still honor the lease? How do I bring this up with my leasing office and what should I be requesting? Should I bring this up at the end of my lease or now during the period where the concessions are applied?

I feel like it's unfair that they "break" the lease by not honoring it because if they had made a typo where i ended up paying more than agreed upon, they probably wouldn't change it just because I had made an error and not read through my lease properly.

Thank you in advance!

Hey all -- wondering if anyone else ordered sunday GA tickets and was sent bracelets saying 4 day GA pass? Did they just run out of the sunday bracelets?
