YA Romance with chai lattes, yoga, and a couple kissing on the cover?

Looking for a YA title I read probably between 2010-2013, though it could've been published earlier in the 2000s.

Pretty standard high school YA romance. Girl has a single mom and her father figure is her mom's best friend, who is a flight attendent ( >! turns out he's actually her father!<). The guy is a musician who works in a coffee shop with his friend/bandmate. Every week after yoga the girl goes and gets a chai latte at the coffee shop. I think she might be in a relationship? I remember the book culminating in a school dance that his band wants to play. I think she might even make the flyers.

The cover featured a photo of two teens embracing (maybe from the waist down, but I think they were kissing). I'm 90% sure he had flip flops on, lol.

TIA <3

Henna v. Box Dye (v. Gloss?)

Hey Everybody,

I've been coloring my hair on and off for ~5 years using box dye. I have natural level 4 color hair and 2B curl pattern, and I've been dying it red--kind of going for a medium brown auburn look (think, like, Sophia Bush early 2000s). I switch up dyes based on price but usually in the realm of Loreal R57 and I redo it every 4 or 5 months.

I haven't noticed excessive damage over the years, but I know that box dye can be really harsh and layering it over time isn't the best, and I know my hair can always be healthier. I don't have the money to get it professionally done, and even though I get my hair cut at a student place, my schedule is so hectic that it can be hard to get a regular salon appointment in.

I know it's probably time to find something that is better for my hair than I have been told box dye/developer is. I have been weighing my options about using henna, or even a color gloss to achieve a similar result with less overall long term damage. Would switching to something like that be healthier for my hair, or am I just trading one type of damage for another? Is using the henna without bleach going to have any effect on my hair at all, or will it look the same or wash out immediately? Are there any solutions long-term besides regular salon visits?

Thanks in advance! <3

Custom Jensen Lee Duffle Bag?

Hi!

Many years ago I lost a Jensen Lee bag from high school. It was a Garfield duffle with my last name on it. It was so dear to me and even though I'm long graduated, I've decided I want to replace it.

When I look online the only options seem to be ordering through school PTAs (order forms which have now long since passed), wholesale orders, or through dealers directly, although I can't find any dealers that have the Garfield bags specifically.

I remember in high school going to a shop where they had all the high school bags and having my last name printed on there in house. Of course, I no longer remember where this store was. Does anyone know of any shops that carry Garfield Jensen Lee bags, and would be able to customize with your last name?

Thanks!
