Scroll thru the rainbow

Not sure if this counts, as it's not rainbow in it's entirety (yet) but this is my current hyperfixation and wanted to share the pretty colors!

Has anyone gone from Her2+ to reoccurring with Her2- ??

Hi - I'm 35f, diagnosed 10/1/2025 with Invasive Intraductal Carcinoma with auxiliary nodal metastases. ER/PR - Her2+. I had a 2cm tumor on my "bra line" (basically on my ribcage, just under my boob) & 2 impacted lymph nodes, considered stage 3.

I did 6 rounds of Herceptin, Perjeta, Carboplatin, & Docetaxel, ending late February. Had some push backs due to insurance getting my DMX with reconstruction but finally had DMX 4/30/26 with reconstruction 5/13/26. By my follow up 5/21/26 I was already feeling a bump in the same spot! I got it biopsied on 6/10/26 & lumdectomy 6/23/26.

I was supposed to start 14 rounds of Kadcyla today when my oncologist told me the pathology came back saying Her2-, which completely changes treatment plans. My oncologist is asking for a 2nd opinion on the pathology I guess as well as ordering some other genetic tests, etc. Which I also did back in October.

Has anything like this happened to anyone here? I feel so confused and like I want to keep optimistic towards maybe the sample wasn't great enough or maybe something was a miss and I'll still be Her2+? I dislike being in limbo like this 😭
