cost of extraction/bone grafting/implant posts

so I'm curious what everyone in the USA is paying per tooth for an difficult extraction, bone grafting, and then titanium posts followed by the final process of installing the implants to the posts.

my dental insurance doesn't cover this kind of work so I'm paying out of pocket. it seems like the cost is extremely high - but I don't know what to really compare it to - I don't want to go off google results....

long story short I got into a major car accident, several teeth of mine were really damaged beyond the point of repair and due to the time it took for a broken jaw to heal and other injuries, on my left side only back at the end of march, I had five teeth extracted. along with platelet-rich-plasma bone grafting. coming up on the 9th, I'm having the titanium implants (artificial roots) surgical placed - and then after a 2 month recovery period, the abutment will be connected to said implants

so, my total cost does NOT include the cost of the final restoration (custom crowns/bridges or denture attached to the abutment)

total cost = $33,000

location: ohio

paying in FULL - so this cost does not include any interest occurred due to making small payments over time.... is this a normal price point for five teeth extracted/surgical implants prepped etc....

yes, I know there are cheaper alternatives like dental clinics that offer dental students/oral surgeon in residency to do the procedure... that isn't a risk I'm willing to take. there really aren't many other actual surgeons in my area - there's one other office I called over 7 times, left a message, never heard back ....

am I getting taken to the cleaners or is this pretty standard? I understand price is very subjective based on an individuals specific tooth location, the level of complexity, what teeth they are extracting, if you were given IV-sedation (I was) or just local anesthesia....

if anyone could just provide their overall cost (not including price for the crowns/fake teeth themselves) - without insurance and your location.

I APPRECIATE IT

question about implant surgery coming up - recovered from extraction & bone graft ...

long story short, I had gotten into a bad car accident that caused multiple issues with my teeth. I had fractured my jaw bone that was addressed immediately after the accident, however I had to wait several months to fix the teeth that were cracked in the accident...

I had the first step of the surgery on the left side of my mouth done at the end of march, this year. it involved extraction of the teeth (5 total) and bone grafting. I was fortunately under monitored anesthesia care (MAC)/deep sedation. so the procedure itself wasn't painful, however the second day and several following the surgery I was in significant pain.

I knew in advance I would need to heal before I could have the second portion of the surgery done (the implant process). so, I'm finally able to eat some very limited solid foods (baby goldfish is about the hardest/crunchiest thing I can eat since I'm operating with only two of my own back molars on that side to chew on.

they surgeons are using CT-guided/topography for the implants so the entire thing will be preplanned, but I still need to have the standard titanium posts (supposedly they function as artificial roots so the jawbone is stimulated and bone atrophy is avoided)

but I'm still getting all five done at once... when I had the extraction/bone-graft portion, I definitely needed stronger pain medication than what I see others discussing. I was prescribed hydrocodone/acetaminophen (5mg/325mg) and was instructed to take 1 tablet every 4-6 hours PNR (15 total) so needless to say this didn't really last me long. so I was prescribed generic percocet 5mg/325mg, an additional 15 tablets, PNR.

so what I'm really wondering is, what should I expect from this part of the surgery, pain wise, length of recovery, what I realistically can eat and also to people who have successfully retained healthy implants what tips do you suggest to help care for your implants outside of the standard oral health routines?

am I going to experience more or less pain vs. the extraction/bone graft? I've read since the bone contains less nerve receptors and it is less invasive, I theoretically should experience less pain/discomfort than I did for the extraction/bone grafting. I understand pain is very subjective and no two people experience things the same. but, I'm asking in general is it safe to assume, without taking into consideration any complications (knock on wood!) - that the first 48-hours will be the most uncomfortable? and I will experience less pain?**

also, I took off 1 week initially after my first surgery, and ended up extending that to 7 working days (so 5 days, monday-friday the first week and then monday & tuesday the following week)

I have a week blocked off after the implant process, should that be good?

I have a lot of vacation time/can work from home too - and my boss is extremely understanding/flexible. so, it's not an issue about rushing to get back, but I don't want to take off more days than needed - plus telling my coworkers (besides my boss) I can't talk is always fun and a plus 😏

I appreciate any and all constructive/helpful feedback in advance.

patched instagram app issue loading searched developer options...

as the title states, I've successfully patched instagram using piku - I'm able to load metaconfig settings & overrides when I long press home, but

  1. if I type in any flag to pull up, it refuses to load them.....(continuous loop of loading and nothing loads, eventually I have to force close the app...)

  2. is there any way when you long press the home button - metaconfig settings & overrides is already preloaded and shows the latest configured flags like how the old modded instagram apps used to be? (i.e. instander, ugh basically any app before loading metaconfigs became an issue a few months ago?)

yes before anyone suggests to force sync and close and reopen the app as the prompt suggests every single time when long pressing the home button... I've already done this.

the main thing I want to do immediately - is to change the layout of the navigation buttons to my liking and yes I know under piku settings you can disable certain buttons, but I want to load navigation refresh (+ other similar flags) to customize the navigation buttons to what I want them to be

##one other question

• is there a flag to enable the ratio of the posts in your feed to be uniform (or smaller like the older style instagram used to be before they changed the aspect ratio) without compromising quality and download size of the original image if someone were to download something?

looking for someone to create a decent b9 audi s4 custom model in 3" [1/60, 1/65 ... etc] will compensate

there are *some* car models that are readily abundant in the diecast community... audi *isn't* a manufacturer that has a lot (more have been released in the past few years...) but it's usually the *same models* ... a **r8, rs6...** or even **older audi models or race car variants**

I collect *exclusively* 3" diecast cars [so as I stated in the title, 1/50 is usually the largest I'll go... up to 1/70 as the smallest]

I'd absolutely love to source the most recent (and last) generation of the **audi s4** and have it customized.

so, I'm asking....

• does anyone know of any cars that meet the for mentioned specs? appreciate your info if you could let me know

• people *that customize cars well* - if I find a car, anyone willing to customize color and wheels, etc? will pay. preferably in the US but if we can arrange a payment for someone outside the states, I'm ok with that.

**thanks in advance and I hope this type of post is allowed**
