[European] 2021 Abarth 595 Turismo 165hp with 17400 miles – when should I change spark plugs and timing belt?

Hi everyone,

I have a 2021 Abarth 595 Turismo 1.4 T-Jet 165hp, first registered in September 2021, currently with around 28,000 km (17,400 miles).

The car is completely stock and is running perfectly. It starts perfectly from cold, idles smoothly, pulls hard through the rev range and I have no misfires, hesitation or warning lights.

The spark plugs are still the original ones from 2021.

My questions are:

  • When would you realistically replace the spark plugs on this engine?
  • Would you change them now simply because of their age, even though the car only has 28k km and runs perfectly?
  • Or would you wait until there are more miles/symptoms?

Also, the timing belt is still original.

I was thinking of doing the timing belt in 2027, when the car turns 6 years old, together with the water pump. The mileage will still probably be quite low.

For those familiar with the 165hp T-Jet: would you be comfortable waiting until 6 years, or would you do the timing belt earlier?

At the moment I'm planning to just do engine oil + oil filter + air filter and inspect everything else rather than replacing parts unnecessarily.

Interested to hear what other Abarth owners actually do in the real world rather than just the most conservative maintenance schedule.

Thank you very much in advance!

What is this transmog? What pieces?

Hello everyone! Hope all of you are doing well!

So, I am in desperate need of knowing what pieces go into this transmog!

I stumbled upon an old Reddit post from 5 years ago, and would love to really farm all the pieces (no need for the weapons though).

Can someone help?

Thank you so much!
