Anyone else noticed the proximity propaganda in their bubble lately?

Been seeing a ridiculous wave of Russia-washing content past 3 days. A dozen videos trying to convince everyone how actually Russia is European, they're white, most of them live west of the Urals, etc.

I know all this geography, that is NOT the point. It’s total bot behavior trying to whiten and soften their image through some mild west association trivia while they're literally playing the bully.

Geographic trivia doesn't erase imperialist aggression. We're all homo sapiens sapiens, we can breed, this whole obsession with splitting hairs over ethnic purity to justify state behavior is completely insane and racist.

As a dad of two, Last Epoch has completely restored my love for ARPGs

I’ve put thousands of hours into ARPGs over the years, but with a full-time job and two kids, free gaming time is tight.

For years, my routine was grinding through Diablo 2 ladder seasons. Every time, I’d promise myself: "This season, I'm playing Necromancer." Three weeks in, I'm sitting there broke, struggling to farm gear, while every meta Sorc and Hammerdin (or Warlock nowadays) is zooming through endgame and drowning in High Runes. If you don't play the top meta, the game punishes you for having a life.

Last Epoch feels totally different:

  • Real Build Diversity: I can pick a fun off-meta concept, build a simple skill tree, and it actually works in endgame.
  • Respects Short Play Sessions: Deterministic crafting means a 20-minute window while the kids sleep still yields actual gear progress.
  • Forgiving Respecs: Easy to tweak builds without bricking characters or wasting weeks.

I know people are wary after the Krafton acquisition buyout. It’s fair to be skeptical about publisher moves, but right now the core gameplay and dev vision remain completely intact.

I don't have 8 hours a day to grind meta builds anymore. Last Epoch is just balanced enough to let a casual dad play what he wants and feel powerful.

Kudos to EHG—this is how modern ARPGs should feel.

Edit: Not sure what's wrong with using "AI" to edit my bullet points. My workplace forces me to use it, might as well use it where it is actually useful - editing my opinion/feelings into something that's readable and comprehensible.
