Purchased a house listed as 3 bedroom, realized after purchase only 2 bedroom
My wife and I purchased a home in NY in 2024 which was listed by the seller and is on the county tax records as a 3 bedroom home. Once we moved in we realized one of the rooms that was being used as a bedroom is in an add on that has no heat running into it from the main system. I am working with some HVAC companies to see if we can split our system into the additional room, do we have to notify anyone or if its already listed as 3 bedroom can we continue to leave it as such?
