Hope the marathon went well
Not currently looking for a new job, but an external recruiter reached out for a security architect position at a financial services company that was fully remote and a pretty decent paybump.
First interview went well, except they changed the interview time and the interviewer on me two times the day of. OK, not great, but I said I was free all day, so fair play.
Got an invite for the second interview with two interviewers from their internal recruiter. Wrote the day before confirming I’d be there. Show up on the zoom, and nothing. Waited 5 mins and texted the external recruiter, got one of the most WTF responses I’ve ever had in my 18-year career, but hey, hope the marathon went OK, I guess.
Another one for the graveyard of being treated like garbage by hiring orgs. keep up the good fight folks.
