Tecno Pova 5 Pro (LH8n) stuck on October 2023 build (EU version) – OTA update path broken?

Hey guys,

I’m facing a really frustrating issue with my Tecno Pova 5 Pro (Model: LH8n). The device is completely stuck on a very old software build from October 2023: LH8n-H333M-T-EU-231017V212929.

It hasn't received a single security patch or OTA update in over 6 months. When I manually check for updates in the system settings, it just says the software is "up to date," which is obviously not true since Android 14 / HiOS 14 has been out for this model globally for a while now.

Here is what I’ve already tried to force it, but with zero success:

Changing device regions (tried India, UAE, Malaysia without SIM card).

Clearing cache and data of the "System Update" app, Google Play Services, and Carlcare app.

The official Carlcare support via WhatsApp/Messenger is completely unresponsive or just sends automated bot links.

It seems like the OTA path for this specific European (EU) batch/IMEI range is totally blocked or abandoned by Tecno servers.

Has anyone else with the EU model faced this? Is there a reliable way to manually flash the official Android 14 zip file for the EU region without bricking the device, or am I just stuck forever on Android 13?

Any help, links to official firmware stock ROMs, or advice would be greatly appreciated!
