my Ash has surgery tomorrow to amputate his leg hind leg...what to Expect>> advice is welcome😊

My Ash will be having surgery tomorrow to amputate his leg hind leg after he got it caught between 2 wood slats on a fence when he attempted to jump it. XRay shown 2 separate breaks and a fracture near the hip..Vet suggested amputation as splints/cast wont guarantee proper healing for a 9yr old cat. This all happened on 8/14/26 ..he's hobbled to the litter box, water fountain and in our LR so i know he can walk. Im just worried abt the healing process after surgery. Glad i work frm home so he wont be alone during the day.. Reading all the success stories kinda puts my mind at ease abit. 😊
