What’s the last guitar you played that felt perfect?

When was the last time you picked up a guitar for the first time and felt amazed at it? I recently played a Taylor Gold Series and man, that thing sounded amazing. Didn’t buy it, but it left an impression. Some guitars just speak to you. What guitars have you experienced that with?

Had to Walk Away

Fell in love with this ~1966-1969 LG-0. I went to guitar center to try out a different guitar, but this little guy really spoke to me. It was listed for $799. Ultimately, I passed because of the crack on the neck. I feel good about the decision, but boy did this little thing feel great!! The action was perfect, so playable. It didn’t seem worth the repairs it will need, but I loved appreciating it for a couple hours!

Quickest Fix Ever

Wanted a nice looking keyboard to use while saving up for dream keyboard.
Found a Yamaha YDP 223 for $90 USD with two broken keys. A family with small kids was selling it.
It’s an old one with limitations, but good enough and replacement keys are cheap. Felt up for the challenge.
The “broken keys” in question. Took less than 2 minutes to fix.
