I came across this app and was intrigued. I created an account hoping to connect with other ace people and perhaps find someone special. Unfortunately, there aren’t any users from my location or country. It’s wild to me that every profile is publicly accessible and people are sharing incredibly private information sometimes.

I was bombarded with messages and mail notifications (which I couldn’t turn off) and became so frightened that I deleted my account immediately. I couldn’t even tell if some accounts were genuine or fake.

Don’t get me wrong. That’s not a venting post. But somehow I thought this site works differently.

K-dramas are my guilty pleasure because they’re often so asexual-themed and that really pleases me. I love how couples meet for the first time and how they frequently argue yet fall in love at the end (when the love trope is not that obvious sometimes) often culminating in a kiss. I know it’s not realistic but it’s far more relaxing to watch than other romance shows or films, which often include sex.
Does anyone else feel this way? I’m curious if this is also an asexual thing.
