Jade domestic floor scores

Anyone else feel like jade gets majorly underscored domestically on floor. Her tumbling and landings are basically always perfection, yet she only gets high 7s execution. No offence to Josc but she shouldn’t be getting the same execution as Jade. Even at American classics, jades E should have been much higher than Zoeys and Tatums. I know she gets artistry deductions, but her artistry isn’t worse than anyone else’s. Honestly it’s probably better than Simone and she never got hammered for it. Only a few of the US girls have good artistry on floor. Thankfully it hasn’t stopped Jade getting international assignments but it’s frustrating. I noticed it a lot in 2023. Her scores on floor are often better internationally but for everyone else they are worse 😭

When does Walt start to annoy you in re watches

Ofc there is the face mask scene, but for most of season 1 and 2 he’s sympathizable 😭 he really starts to piss me of at the start of season 3 when he won’t sign the divorce papers and moves back in with Skyler against her will. He was being such a douche 😅 then played it up for the police 🤦‍♀️and when he cut Jesse out of the deal with Gus, when he knew Jesse just got out of rehab was grieving the gf he let die😳

Sad reality of Jesse buying his aunts house

Disclaimer- I’m not excusing Jesse turning the basement into a meth lab.

When Jesse rattles the keys and tells his parents he bought the place, outwardly, it looks like a triumphant moment for Jesse but the reality is very tragic. First, his parents kick him out of his aunts house for turning the basement into a meth lab, which is valid but the making him homeless and leaving him with no support was not. Also let’s not forget, Jesse never wanted to cook at his house but Walt pressured him into it.

Jesse’s mum says that when he grows up he can have his stuff back (Presumably the house too?). Jesse had residential privilege while his parents owned the place and original agreement was to sell and split 50/50. From what we can see it appears Jesse did genuinely take care of his aunt alone, and she was probably all he had. Her death likely exacerbated his drug use. Then without Jesse’s knowledge or even knowing where he is, his parents put the house on the market. I’m guessing they didn’t intend on giving him anything nor his belongings back.

Months later Jesse sees the for sale sign. His Dad won’t even show him inside jesses former home when Jesse was clearly trying to connect. Jesse’s just got out of rehab after horrifically losing is girlfriend. He can’t even tell his dad due to the emotional distance. His dad says he’s looks healthy and his mum will be pleased, but rejects Jesse suggesting he could come over for dinner. The last time Jesse saw his mum was when she slapped him in the face. He screws them over by using the meth lab to buy the house from under them. Why this is so sad is because Jesse wanted connection from his family more than the house. But they showed him they didn’t want anything to do with him even after he got healthy and “turned his life around”. That led him to ultimately decide to pull one over them.

When we see Jesse tell them he bought the place, it was satisfying but the reality is so sad. Once Jesse got in the house he was all alone in an empty house, sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag dialling his dead girlfriend’s number to hear her voice. The girlfriend his family didn’t even know about. Yes, he made a lot of bad choices but he needed comfort from his family in a time where he was experiencing immense grief and guilt.

After everything Jesse went through with Walt. He’s exactly where he began. Only difference is he now owns the house and it’s been renovated but lost all his belongings and has no money. Jesse left rehab with absolutely nothing. In order to stay sober you need social support, Jesse had no one so of course he self sabotaged and relapsed.

Paris and Asher

What was the point in the Paris + Asher relationship. Why are we normalising grooming and why did they make Paris a cheater. All for him to die then never be bought up again?! It did nothing for Paris’ arc. It just seems so out of place 😅

Aaron and Bryan reddit

I’ve heard that in the past members of the cast, specifically Bryan and Aaron hopped on reddit to answer questions. Is there any way to access them? I can see the one for the actor who played Drew Sharp has one

Rory money

How did Rory have no money in AYITL, wouldn’t she have got inheritance money from Richard? Or was she exaggerating? She could afford flights but not underwear? Or was Logan buying the flights

AYITL first watch

Did they seriously end the series with Rory saying she’s pregnant and that’s it? Is there another episode or something?? Feels like a weird way to finish the whole series?? Also what was that musical 😬

First time watcher thoughts after finishing the series

I really loved the finale, it was perfect. I’m now watching AYITL, which I have low hopes for based on what I’ve heard. To me, the season 7 ending felt satisfying and complete. I feel like it would have been fine to leave it there and not have AYITL, but guess I’ll have to see what I think after watching it.

Thoughts on the series

I preferred the early seasons, more cosy and the characters were less annoying 😅
TBH the side characters carried the show — Kirk, Babette, Paddy, Paris, Doyle, Lane, Mrs Kim etc. The best moment in the whole series was Luke pushing Jess in the lake 😅

Rory
I like Rory but the more she entered the Emily/richard/logan world the worse she became. I lost respect for her when she wrote the ballerina piece and the mean review of Logan’s party. I’m a PhD student so I definitely relate to her in a lot of ways. I didn’t really like any of her romantic partners. Dean was controlling, Jess was emotionally unavailable, and Logan was just all over the place. I loved season 6 Jess and would’ve liked them to date then.

Lorelei and Rory
Their break was so stupid. Rory became unrecognisable and Lorelei needed to step up and be the adult instead of a sulky teenager. Everyone put so much pressure on Rory and put her on a pedestal, which is the perfect combo for burnout. Rory needed genuine help for the panic attacks. Lorelei and Rory’s relationship is cute but super co-dependent. I cringed so hard at Lorelei staying the night at Yale. I don’t think they were ever the same after the break.

Lorelei and Luke
I shipped Lorelei and Luke so hard at the beginning, but when they were together their communication was so BAD. Idk if they are good together but I still ship. Luke should have told Lorelei about April sooner, but Lorelei was being kinda weird acting jealous of a child. Plus it was hypocritical because she wanted to wait till things resolved with Rory before they set a date so why not wait for Luke to find his place in April’s life first. Why is everyone in the series in such a rush to get married. Loreleis mannerisms started to bug me. I found Luke as a character really funny but in real life the anger would get old.

Loreleis other love interests
Christopher is just ugh. He’s like a worm always wiggling in at the wrong times. He’s an annoying man child. They got waaaaaay too much screen time in season 6/7. Jason and Alex were boring. Max Madena was annoying and controlling.

Lane and Zach
I LOVE Lane. Zach annoyed me sooooo much when he had the band crash out and ruined their shot. He redeemed himself a bit with the dad arc but still ugh. It seems kind of unrealistic that that Lane got pregnant after having planned sex one time? It was planned so wouldn’t they have had protection? I wanted different for Lane.

Sookie and Jackson in the earlier seasons were great but they became kind of toxic and annoying.

Paris is the ultimate neurodiverse queen. I found her so funny but that plot with her dating the professor and him dying was so random and kind of out of place? Her and Doyle were cute.

Emily and Richard
Love as characters but in real life would hate! Lorelei Is so justified in her responses to them. I liked their character growth.

Rory- I thought Rory was the most adorable sweetest person ever until she cheated on dean with Jess, continued pining over Jess all while still dating Dean. She didn’t seem to feel guilty at all?!
Besides that, I like rory and the role-reversal with Lorelei is sad. Everyone has such high expectations of her idk how she isn’t crumbling under the pressure. She’s been a great friend to Paris.

Lorelei- I have a lot of empathy for Loralei because her parents are psycho towards her, but her emotional immaturity can be annoying. I ship her and Luke so hard.

Luke- hilarious. My fav moment is when he pushes Jess in the lake 😂 dude has anger issues but a good heart

Dean- very clingy and short tempered

Jess sucks but I do love a guy who reads

Emily- obviously toxic to Loralei but it comes from a place of love and wanting to spend time with her daughter. Love Emily but she needs to learn to communicate!

Richard- I like how Richard is with Rory, but he treats everyone else like crap

All the regulars in stars hollow + Paris are fabulous

Wasn’t a fan of max. I found him kind of creepy.
