Hacky Sack Man at the PedJam!

I've made this year's poster artwork. I'm in the Pedjam song that memorializes the event. My God-Grandbabies Post Sex Nachos is headlining the Pedjam, and it looks like the Hacky Sack Man is going to be doing another stage performance! PedJam is this weekend!

This is the Hacky Sack Man's ultimate dream: to do footbag performances, on stage, as an official part of a live music performance. I've done it several times. How many others?

My gateway is obv. fried

I have had power cut to 2 of the 3 rows of my panels for over 30 minutes now. My gateway seems to report the right amount of power overall, but it's brain about which panels are which is completely fried. It seems to just kind of average panel power and distribute that power reading across all panes.

My most viral Hacky Sack video

12 years ago. It landed on the front page of Reddit. Well over 350K views, that doesn't count the numerous copies that people shared elsewhere. I still had my 3-add game back then! LOL. So far 3 of my Hacky Sack videos have gone viral over the last 15 years that I've been publishing them. There's a mathematical formula, based primarily on the memory decay curve, that fairly accurately predicts the probability of virality on Reddit. But if there's any one thing I've come to understand about virality, it's that virality is random AF and really makes no sense at all.

Testing to see if Hacky Sack has made it to Threads

So far, zilch. The only footbag / hacky sack content I've seen here since asking the algo for Hacky Sack content is posts from people I already follow and see anyway.

My "Go Find Your Hacky Sack" slogan is soooo ironic RN LOL

Everybody taking it literal again all the sudden, when it's become metaphorical to me.

NOT a bag request: A Hacky Sack Video!

I was feeling kinda bummed about the whole "sound scold" conflict I had here a few weeks ago, that I decided to go to the Stephens Lake Park amphitheater to play Hacky Sack for my next session. Nice little out of the way place, usually nobody there, it was built to have sound and contain sound, best concrete kicking surface in town. Nobody would complain about my music here. Right?

I could hear music before I even pulled up. Turns out a Mizzou student, Logan, was already there, set up with his amp, guitar, pedal box with beat box, JAMMING AWAY!

I felt so inspired by the chance meetup! Had one of the best sessions I've had so far this year. The synchronicity of being provided with such a beautiful, loud, live music experience after the flap with the sound scold felt so validating. Hack Tech Dance Fusion is my thing. The music is absolutely integral.

Thank you Logan for shredding your Axe while I was shredding my Hacks!

There's been an insane explosion of interest in Hacky Sack lately. Everyone's stock has been cleared out. Before making another "Where to buy bags?" post...

There have been a ton of scam websites pop up of course. Beware. Here are some real, known, "been in the business for a few" footbag suppliers.

The World Footbag Association is the "BIG" supplier of footbags. They own the rights to Dirtbags, all the Flying Clipper products, and the knit Sipa Sipa bags. They are behind the Amazon store, Run a TikTok shop, and also partner with retailers like Play it Again sports, Zumiez, and others. THEY HAVE STOCK! They've managed to get a number of their retailers restocked, I've see a couple surf shops on Insta hawking fresh Dirtbags. But... their website is struggling under load sometimes. They say to keep trying, especially off hours. They're doing their best to get the Amazon store and partner retailers re-stocked, have already made a couple drops in their tiktok shop, and should have their site stabilized soon.

Xtremity Juggling is in Ireland. Longer shipping time, but they still have a few footbags in stock. No website, you've got to DM them on social media to make a deal.

Footclan.usa is a smaller manufacturer. My custom "The Hack Man" bags were a collab with Footclan. Jordan has done so much to help promote the sport. One of my personal Hacky Sack heroes. His fingers are bleeding from so much stitching. They drop a new batch of bags every 2 weeks. Look for the latest release on Friday 14th.

Bomb Footbags is another smaller footbag maker. Great all around bags, true voice spreading the Gospel of Hacky Sack. They are making more bags as fast as they can, just keep checking their site!

Hania Bags has been making amazing bags for decades, everything from basic 2-panel to some of the sweetest high-end pro tech bags I've ever owned. Not sure what her stock looks like, I've sent an inquiry and will update when I hear back.

Good news, Ivan is back into the stitching game! If you're looking for one of *THE* best pro tech bags, Ivan is one of the peeps who pioneered using laser cutters to improve bag consistency and quality. No website, DM to make a deal. Limited production, worth the wait!

FootbagNet.com is a Canadian site run by long time footbag player Emmanuel Bouchard. He may only ship to the US every so often.

Dragonfly Footbags has entered the chat! They've been out of stock for awhile, but are back in the game now. The peeps behind Dragonfly have been stalwart supporters of footbag sports for decades. Great to see them back!

Tashi Ashida's FOOTBAGMANIA site is up! They product, and he's converted parts of the store's language to English for now to facilitate the US Hacky Sack craze. If you don't know about Tashi, He is to the entire country of Japan, what I am to the little city of Columbia MO. Footbag Champion, Ambassador of the sport.

I have now heard from Juggling Balls Industry, based in Pakistan. I've actually gotten DM's from them for years, and always ignored them, because it looked like a distributor looking to sell bulk to retailers. But it does look like you can buy individual bags from the site. There are no prices on the site, no shipping information, but they do claim to have footbags in stock. You just have to do the "contact us" link on a bag that you want to get things going. If anyone tries them out, I'd love to hear how it turns out.

If there are any other footbag makers / suppliers, please contact me, DM, whatever, let me know what your site is / how to buy / what your stock situation is, I will add you to this list.

I LOVE TO PLAY HACKY SACK - I HOPE YOU DO TOO!
