Snacks for labor?

37 +2 weeks now, preparing for baby to come whenever he wants to at this point! Bags are packed, etc EXCEPT for snacks... I'm diet controlled and my numbers have always been pretty good about being in range. I know for a fact I'm going to want to eat something but nothing sounds good. What snacks should I bring?? I'm a savory over sweets person anyway, so possibly like cheese/salami and crackers? Veggie sticks? I'd love to have at least one solid meal before things get too intense. Help me!

I am over it!

33 almost 34 weeks pregnant here - and I'm SOOOO over it! I'm only 5 foot 3, all belly butt and boobs, and seriously can't stand it! Being short and pregnant SUCKS! I want so badly to do all the pregnancy mobility and labor exercises/stretches, but it seems like my belly and legs are so chunky right now I can hardly do any kind of movement comfortably. Not to mention I have a freshly 2-year-old son who, while being a very sweet mama's boy who I adore, is also hell on wheels most days. I don't want to do ANYTHING except lay around, especially since its summer. I'm a sweaty, stinky mess, super irritable and can't wait to go into labor. I don't want to cook, or clean, do stuff with my son, do stuff with my husband, pet my cat, or really even walk. I'm not depressed, just insanely uncomfortable and cranky. I know it will be better after babys born, but MAN if I could just lay in my room, AC cranked, be totally alone for the next several weeks I would be 10000% okay with it.

End rant. That is all!

I ate Dairy Queen

I was diagnosed for the 2nd time (and 2nd baby) about a week ago at 29 weeks, after being pretty mindful about my diet and activity levels due to my first GD pregnancy being pretty traumatic. I know full well how frustrating the experimenting with foods and blood sugar levels are. Yesterday I made a healthy pasta salad - protein pasta, lots of fresh veggies, herbs, chickpeas, homemade pickled red onions, and homemade sundried tomato Greek yogurt dressing. It was f*cking delicious and I paired it with 2 beef patties with cheese... thinking I would be fine because there was so much protein. My blood sugar was like 75 at bedtime, 105 this morning. What!! I was pissed.

Well we went to the zoo today and I packed lots of protein forward, veggie forward lunch/snacks. My blood sugar after lunch was around 100 - fine. On the way home, my hot sweaty pregnant ass could NOT shake the idea of ice cream... I haven't had sweets in 2 weeks, and was like F it I'm going to Dairy Queen. I shamefully ordered a small hot fudge sundae and 2 chicken strips, ate them while my kid slept in the back and threw away the evidence before going inside. 2 hours later.... 117!!! WTF!! My healthy salad spiked it way more than the sundae. Make it make sense lol

Glucose test - yuck

Just had the glucose test this morning for my second pregnancy at 28 weeks. I feel like its a cruel joke of a test - who consumes 75g of glucose/dextrose with zero protein or fat for breakfast? And they expect your numbers to lower after 2 hours WHILE telling you not to move around and sit in the lobby, and take only tiny sips of water? Of course I didn't pass, again. I had GD for my first pregnancy too. I'm so frustrated... i have gained less than half the weight I did with my first, have watched my diet and sugar the entire time, control my portions, and frankly don't even have an appetite most days. Ahhh!!!
