Breathe No More / favourite b-side tracks?

I don't know how I've only just discovered this song. Its absolutely beautiful and touching, and the lyrics, even on just a first listen, are so important and really resonate with me.

Again, how have i never heard this amazing song before?! knew about the other b-sides from fallen, so i assume this one just fell through the cracks, which is a massive shame.

What are your favourite b-sides from any album? On topic with fallen, 'farther away' has always been one of my most loved and streamed evanescence songs. I also love 'together again' but I have to be in the right mood to listen to it lol

And, as I'm writing this, I've found out that "If You Don't Mind" is actually a TOD b-side, I always thought that was from self-titled, but on next listen that makes a lot more sense...lol.

also, happy 1-month of sanctuary! Do you have any favorite tracks? I remember back when it first came out my ranking was far more wavering / mixed, but after a months listen I don't think any songs come under 6 / 10. My favorite is either self-destruct or Wide Open Heart. :)

Mini Evanescence CD keychains + how I made them <3

I finished up these mini-accurate CDS today for fallen, self-titled and TOD, and thought it would be cool to share them on this sub + how I made them!

first, i believe the bases were bought on amazon, but I'm not entirely sure since I received them as a gift. maybe have a sleuth around to find them :)

the dimensons for the paper/covers/spines follows:

front cover booklet: 40mm x 40mm per page (connect front+back)

back covers (i cellotaped the inside and outside covers together, but there might be an easier way to do it): 48mm x 37mm + spines on both sides: 4m x 37mm (connect to back cover and fold into the sides) NOTE: the spines are additional length, not combined:)

CD (my cases came with plastic CDS, but i decided to use just cardboard and double sided tape) - 40mm x 40mm

I'm quite proud that I was able to make the actual booklets, but because the paper is so small it gets thick quite quickly so i would only reccomend doing one page inside (also, i know the one for self-titled isnt an actual panel in the book but i just really loved those two photos of amy!)

the little keychains I made were also fun. i went to my local craft shop for everything (including the chains and stuff)

P.S the end attached photo i believe you can save it and print it out, but i would reccomend making your own sheets and printing them out as PDFS (or, drawing them yourself if you dont have a printer)

^^^ you can use discogs (and for more niche albums that i made i used ebay listings) to find all the images for these.

The Change is an AMAZING song/What song does this to you?

this revelation came to me when I was listening to the song in the car at night on a drive home in the city. It was such a moment really and it just felt like i was dragged into my own world

thats the post basically. Its such a good song to listen to in any mood and situation. I listen to it when im angry, happy, in need of something familiar...anything.

Amys wailing in the chorus is so incredibly catchy and its impossible to overestimate just how amazing her vocals are in this song.

It feels so profoundly 'Evanescence' to me somehow. I sent the song to some acquaintances and they said the same thing!

I think thats what makes self-titled/ev3 such a magical album and era for the band to me. theres something so galactic and hypnotising in the vocals, the mixings, and its just an extraordinary album to me sonically.

so I wonder, reader, what song does this to you? I'd love to hear everyones personal favorites for just finding a moment to make perfect via evanescence. <3

Songs for each country that best represents their culture/musical culture?

I've been really wanting to reccomend eurovision to friends and family (for extended context, I am not european), and I really want an emphasis on the cultural diversity in eurovision that is so amazingly prevalent. The contest and its celebration of music makes me happy and is a big reason as to why I love it.

Thats why I've been wanting to curate a little 'playlist' of songs (from ANY esc year) to reccomend to an outsider to show just that.

1 or a few songs for each country is what I'm striving for.

A few I've already thought of are:

Armenia 2024 (one of my favourite entries ever)
France 2021
Portugal 2017
Finland 2006 (finlands metal scene is such a cool little niche isnt it)

...but im typing this up at night time so I know I am missing a lot of great entries! help a fan out, and thank you so much!
