Will be traveling along the Oregon coast in July and staying in a few different cities. I will be in Portland, Astoria, Cannon Beach, Pacific City and Florence.

I have a kid that likes to bass fish, fish in small lakes, fish in creeks and rivers, etc.... he just like to fish. Looking for something simple and easy.

Any ideas for coastal fishing? Are there any piers? I'm in Florence for a few days... Anyone rent fishing gear that I could use just to sit on the beach and ocean fish from the shore? Any recommended fishing experiences? Could be guided... Thanks!
