Broken Tinyhawk 3 (Help needed)
Hey everyone
This is my first post here and I've only recently gotten into the hobby. I hope you can help me out a little here :)
Here's what happened:
I discovered that there was a Tinyhawk 3 just sitting around at my workplace. I charged everything sufficiently and fiddled around with it a little. After being able to hover it in air mode for a few minutes I wanted to change the battery. I plugged in a 600 mAh battery with the same voltage (3.8v) and it immediately started smoking and the connector started to melt. Two of the motors spun up, there was smoke, I unplugged the battery and now the drone is dead.
No spin up, no lights... nothing.
Is there a way to save the drone somehow? From the research I did, it seems I fried the connector (and the capacitor that was attached to it?) and the AIO/ESC.
Could I maybe still use the motors, the camera modules and the frame for a DIY/frankenstein build or something? How would I check if I possibly fried those too?
Sorry for the lengthy post. Thanks in advance
