Progress Report 3: Helios
Im back with the next section FINALLY finished, sorry guys I have sleep problems for the past few days it was hard to work on the level
I originally wanted the saw section to just be a random obstacle but the boss potential was UNSTOPPABLE so I made it into a miniboss, also the moment when Sackboy gets detected as an intruder. (Btw this does NOT mean that the level won't have anymore bosses, atp I've decided to add more bosses and at the end a final boss)
🕸️ For the vents I made it so if you grab and pull on the spider webs they get destroyed (Yes you can also destroy the second web on the ceiling but you'll probably end up falling down into the spikes).
Also added some score bubbles, I'll add more score bubbles and prize bubbles.
When you get past the first section all checkpoints and entrances are destroyed so you have to reload the level if you die afterwards, this is because it will be NEAR IMPOSSIBLE and INEFFICIENT to rebuild all events.
🔮 Upcoming: I'll add a Practice mode at the start when you break the first spiderweb and go left. In practice mode the level will spawn infinite lives checkpoints but you can't clear the level
I'll add deco to the boss and the small platforming section before it
For the next part you will pass through a dark straightforward section that's blaring intruder alarms and then you will meet the Grappling Hook test.
