Top rewatches?

Funniest playthroughs in y’all’s opinion? I love his old series, less censored Berlin has me in tears, but there’s some one-off gems I go back to as well.

Rewatched Woodbury Getaway earlier because his ass flaming Mike the whole time always gets me. The whole pizza shop part is so good. (“DAMN! THREE BITES??”) Made me wonder what other people’s comfort vids were.

Two sentence horror story

I thought I’d lucked out with my MIL.
And then time went by.

Y’all I’m tired of this shit. She doesn’t even communicate, just sics her asshole husband on me and mine. This has happened so many times in the span of a year. We recently got engaged, (I call him my husband because that’s how we’ve been living, we’re just making it official now, I didn’t want to have a ceremony while pregnant) and they ruined the whole thing. They were mad they weren’t physically there even though NO ONE was. Just me and my man. His dad said we should’ve had MIL on FaceTime for it. Like are you fucking serious?? 😭😭

Keep in mind they were informed the entire time of what was going on, but I posted my ring right after in excitement, then 20 minutes went by and my fiancehusband messaged his dad to celebrate. He said “we already saw it on social media with the rest of the lowlife nobodies in the whole world.” Ok. You big fucking baby. When I messaged MIL to ask if he had been joking, she responded in the negative and said “well he was completely left out of the most important moment of his sons life after spending countless hours helping.” HE WAS NOT. AND HE DID NOT HELP!! It was all MIL helping!!! So I know it was actually her speaking through him. She uses him as the messenger then acts like she’s an angel to comparison. Unfortunately I was born many years ago instead of yesterday.

I’m just so fucking fed up. That ruined the night for my man and, consequently, me.

Am I just an ass?

I just don’t know. My whole life I’ve been selectively social. I like my mom, my sisters, a couple good friends, and a partner if I had one. I’m pretty introverted. A part of that is I don’t text or call for fun, I can be at your house to hang out or help you with anything whenever you need/want, but I’m not a phone communicator. And honestly? I don’t care. I don’t feel bad about that. No one is meant to be glued to their phone, awaiting anyone’s beck and call. In my free time I’d prefer to do literally anything else. I tell everyone this, and highly resent when it’s taken personally despite hearing “no it’s totally fine I get it!”

Well, my mother in law. She’s a wonderful woman with many good qualities, but holy fuck. She’s the most high maintenance communicator I’ve met in a while. She sends several walls of texts regularly, about anything. All things that require their own separate line of dialogue and acknowledgment. And if she’s not responded to, her stupid fuckass husband calls and reprimands my husband about it. “Y’all need to text ——“ no the fuck we don’t!!!!!! We are still in the goddamn newborn trenches, and your wife is in my phone more than a dude sitting in a beautiful woman’s Instagram requests talking to himself for the past 3 years.

I hate him. Just an obnoxious, dickheaded, inconsiderate man who mocked my mother and was laying on the hospital FLOOR in the fetal position playing games on his phone while I was giving birth.

Anyways.. it’s very regular that we have to give reassurance, apologize, or do something special to make up for hurt feelings when this woman knows me CLOSELY. She knows how I am, I’ve communicated the stress I’m under which adds to me not texting. Keep in mind that these are not important texts. They never are. I’m just infuriated that this will be something I deal with for the unforeseeable future. Is there something wrong with me?? Am I just a bitch??

Fleas and in laws

There’s just… so much happening. I’m exhausted and mentally drained.

First, whose job was it to tell me about the horror of fleas in a carpeted home? You failed. Also, I hate you. I’m in hell. Our cat had extremely long hair so we didn’t notice them at first. He got baths but was strictly inside/never was around other pets, so flea treatment wasn’t on my mind. We started the rehoming process because he has health issues we can’t afford to treat. About three days before he went to his new (extremely loving) home, I noticed a couple tiny devils on my feet in the kitchen, and was bitten on the neck while sitting on the couch. Ok easy fix, flea treat the cat!

Fucking WRONG! Our whole place has carpet other than the kitchen and bathroom. Apparently they can live there. I’ve been vacuuming more than sleeping, and trying everything. I’m scared to fog or use harsh treatments because my daughter isn’t even two months old. Thankfully it’s not a bad infestation, none have got on her. But this is literally my worst nightmare.

Second. In laws. My MIL is a lovely woman who is very hands on but is also… very hands on. We’re close but she’s very needy communication-wise and emotionally. FIL is an ass. I dont like him. He’s consistently disrespectful to my husband, and gets on to him if either of us lapse in texts to MIL. Which does absolutely happen because… we have a newborn. But their feelings somehow always become an issue we have to deal with. I personally think, hey! We’re all adults! Entertain your own wife!

My husband’s grandmother is a scourge upon this earth. Top ten least favorite people. My baby is not a toy or something you’re entitled to. Everyone is needy and gets butthurt if they’re not my fucking top priority!

Where’s the pest control number for people who you inherit in marriage? Between them, the fleas, and the economy, I sat on my kitchen floor for half an hour last night disassociating. At least my little grub worm is healthy and the happiest baby ever when she’s awake and doesn’t need to take a shit. That’s all that matters.

Baby laughing at one month??

So, I know babies don’t develop certain social tendencies for while, everything I’ve read says that…

BUT. My daughter has been socially smiling for about a week now. She’s very good natured, and vocal/interactive when she’s awake. It’s much earlier than what I remember my younger siblings doing. She doesn’t have gas issues though, and smiles in response wben I talk or sing to her. So I’m led to believe the smiles are intentional.

Within the past few days now, she’s also been “laughing” in her sleep. She’ll smile then give out a few things that sound like laughter. She also did it while awake today, I had been attacking her with kisses and she was smiling, then started to do her weird little chuckle attempt after each round of kiss attacks.

Everything I’ve looked up says it’s not possible, but I’m just curious if anyone else has had their baby do this? I laugh at everything, and I’m wondering if this got passed down and somehow ignores typical behavioral milestones LOL
