[Hobby] Background Artist Needed for Indie Animated Series
Hello! I’m currently developing an indie animated YouTube series called The Cards of Stories’ Souls, a show based around a competitive trading card game where the cards are living beings.
The project is currently in early development, and I’m looking for one background/environment artist (unpaid) interested in helping with environment concepts and background development. Right now I’m mainly looking for concept-style background work for locations in episode 1 and establishing the visual language of the world.
Backgrounds will mainly revolve around indoor locations (card shops, apartments), and urban/city locations.
The series is inspired by anime, stylized indie animation (such as Gameoverse), and real-world TCG culture.
I currently have a full document outlining the show’s world, character concepts, and visual style, a full draft of the first episode, and a character designer working with me on the project.
Right now this is a small indie passion project, but I’d love to collaborate with someone interested in creating visuals and animation production. Any and all artists are welcome!
