Which van would be best to compliment tent camping?

We have a nice family tent setup and go camping multiple times a year. I'd like to buy a van that can seat 2 adults and 2 children (I can fit an extra seat if needed), has space for all our camping gear, and space at the back where I can build a kitchen/storage area. Ideally, I'd like to be able to open the rear doors and have a ready to go cooking area, built-in fridge, and storage drawers/cupboards, as I hate cooking on flimsy camping tables and doing all the setup every time.

I've been looking at the Transit Custom L1 H1, do you think this would have enough space? Are there any other vans that would be better suited? Ideally I don't want to go longer than an L1 as it will be my daily driver and I don't want anything too big.

Any alternative suggestions welcome, TIA!

Where to put funds from grandmother's house sale?

My grandmother has been moved into a care home (costs approximately £6500 per month). To fund this, my mother is selling my grandmother's house for £400,000, and doesn't know where best to keep the money.

She will be putting the maximum amount into my grandmother's ISA account, I've also suggested putting the maximum into premium bonds.

My mother does not want to put anything into an investment account as she is worried about the risks and needs the money available to pay the monthly care home bills. She also doesn't want to keep it in a single savings account as it's over the maximum protected amount.

Should she spread the money across multiple savings accounts? Is there anything else she could do with it to maximise interest?

Any help appreciated, TIA!

What should I do with the gap between deck and grass?

I'm looking for suggestions on how to finish this decking, specifically how to fill the gap between the deck and the grass. My plan was to fill it with stones up to the bottom of the boards around the edges, but as you can see in picture 4, the grass is very uneven and at certain points the stones would be higher than the grass and spill out. I have considered some kind of barrier between the grass and stones, but think it might look rubbish as you would see a lot of that barrier where the grass dips. Any thoughts? TIA

Looking for suggestions to add a third bedroom

We live in a dormer bungalow, with two bedrooms upstairs. We have two children who currently share a room, and want to create an additional room with the space we have so they can have their own rooms. We had considered building an extra room on top of the existing ground floor extension but it's too expensive, so are looking at moving/adding internal walls downstairs to better utilise the space we have.

As you can see from the floorplan, we have a large living room which could be reduced in size, a dining room which is largely unused, and also an area downstairs to the left of the front door which is labelled as a bedroom in the floorplan but does not have a solid wall, instead it has a bifold door we keep open most of the time. The door to the bathroom is within this room so it isn't practical to use this as a bedroom currently.

I'm looking for any suggestions on how we could change the layout to add a room. We've considered changing the shape of the downstairs bathroom so it is less long and more square, and moving the door (taking some kitchen space with it) which would make bedroom 3 larger. We also considered reducing the size of the living room, so the new bedroom is on the right as you enter.

I've attached pictures of the house (from when we bought it a few years ago). Any suggestions welcome, thanks!
