With the current wildfire situation in the Okanagan, Kelowna residents have been taking FSR 201 to take a shortcut to Penticton. I remember being told a long time ago that there is no coverage off paved roads in BC, but when I search ICBC's FAQ I can't find that policy. Are injuries also not covered? Are any gravel roads in the province covered, or is it strictly coverage on pavement only? Can you buy off road coverage for your truck like you can for an ATV or dirt bike? If you file a claim for an accident on FSR 201, will ICBC just close it? I just want to be fully aware of the risks; I haven't actually taken the road.
