What are your fav solo birthday traditions?
Mines next week and I thought it’d be fun to hear what others do. For the night of my birthday I order in either Moo Shu Pork or the best Springfield Cashew Chicken I can find (nothing compares to the real deal), and I watch one of the following movies: The Fly, Invasion of the Body Snatchers or Drunken Master. I always have to blow out a candle on my birthday so I’ll either make a boxed cake or pick up some cupcakes at the store. This year I think I’ll splurge and get a mini cake from a local bakery! My family sends me gifts, mostly from Amazon lol, and I collect them all in a corner and don’t open them til the day of. Right now I have a big giant bow on top of my pile to help it feel more festive 🎁 I love birthdays even when, or maybe especially when, I get to celebrate them alone. What about you?
