Need advice, feeling defeated. Located zone 8A. We attempted to do a lawn renovation and spent a lot of time preparing but 12 days after grass seed all we’re seeing are weeds no grass. We started the process by applying 41% glyphosate to kill the weed infested lawn we previously had. We did this process twice and gave 2 weeks in between to allow the weeds to die. After killing the lawn, we mowed low and detached picking up all debris and removed it from the yard. We aerated and applied 2” of new topsoil all over the front and back yard. Then we applied starter fertilizer and our Monaco Bermuda seed from Twin City Seeds. We have been watering for 20 min at 7am, 1pm, and 7pm. First pic is front lawn as it is right now and all green is weeds, second pic is the weed. I have no clue where we went wrong and why the grass won’t grow. Any recommendations or advice is greatly appreciated!
