People that receives full set - did you pay full at one-go?

Price in photo is in SGD.

My clinic provides instalment payment by default (no extra charges). I pay them when I go for appointment, roughly 12-weeks gap. My comprehensive plan does show xx of 62 trays. I only have until 31/62 with me. My ortho keeps the rest for me, and only gives me enough trays until next appointment! (Maybe so that I don't run away and comes back to pay instalment lol)

I saw many redditors receive full set. Do you pay in instalment too? Or do you pay full?

Feel free to provide more details/food for thoughts! I like to hear opinions!

DINKs - how did family reacted when you announced the decision?

For context, my family is rather broken. My partner and in-laws are wonderful, they made me learn true family warmth.

I truly think I do not have the capacity to sacrifice and care for another human (kid). My partner loves kids but he respects my choice. Honestly, I'm on the 50-50.

We have not told parents/in-laws. What stresses me out is that parents/in-laws will mention "in future when you have kids xxx".

Any DINKs can share your experience of announcing to be DINK?

Love and hate of day 7 (change day)... struggle to remove even with tool

I have 16 attachments. I always need tool, my aligner does not budge at all with fingers (mainly upper tray). On change day its especially difficult, unhooking a section and pulling becomes unworkable. I have to unhook one tooth at a time.

I am happy to 'feel' my aligners tracking well, but it also getting emotionally draining to go through the struggle weekly.

Anyone with similar experience? How do you deal with it? How long does it get better?
