Denied by UPOU for Not Meeting the 2.0 GWA Requirement, but My Computed GWA Is Around 1.60?

I recently applied for the UPOU Bachelor of Education Studies (BES) program as a non-UP transferee.

The problem is that I'm confused because I don't think my GWA is below 2.0, I even computed it many times. Even though I got an INC, I fixed it and even though I got one course that I got a 3.00, pasok pa din naman sa required GWA.

I submitted a complete, updated Certified True Copy of Grades (TCG) since my current university won't release my TOR until I officially transfer. UPOU accepted my TCG.

Has anyone experienced something similar with UPOU? Is it possible they computed my GWA differently, used an older record, or could this simply be an evaluation error?

Any advice or similar experiences would really help. I'm honestly feeling lost because I genuinely thought I met the academic requirement.

Thank you po :(

UPDATE: may problema pala sa papers ko HAHAHAH nabago na yung denied status ko into submitted to FOS/PC, sana 🤞🏻🙏🏻

Should I stay enrolled in my current school while waiting for my UPOU BES transfer result?

Hi poooo. I need some advice from those who have transferred to UPOU BES or have been in a similar situation.

I'm currently enrolled in a public college, and I applied as a transferee to UPOU BES. I have already submitted all my requirements, but I haven't received a DERM email yet, and of course, I also don't have a Notice of Admission (NOA) yet.

The problem is that the new school year at my current school is going to start on the half of July. I was also informed by someone that if I don't receive the email for DERM and got UGAT email instead, I should just pull out my UPOU application and continue my studies at my current school. I'm not sure if that's really the best course of action.

I'm worried because...

- Should I continue attending classes at CCC while waiting?

- Has anyone here stayed enrolled in their current school while waiting for UPOU's transfer results?

- If you received your DERM or NOA late, what did you do?

- Is it true that if you still haven't received the DERM email by the time classes start, it's better to just continue at your current school?

- At what point did you decide to withdraw from your previous school?

I don't want to lose an entire semester by withdrawing too early, but I also don't want to miss my chance if I get accepted by UPOU.

I'd really appreciate hearing from recent UPOU BES transferees or anyone who experienced this. Thankssss! 🥺😭🙏🏻

UPOU Transfer - Inquiries

Hi po, I really want po na mag-transfer ng UPOU para mas ma-manage ko po time ko and preference ko talaga ang self study huhuhuhu

I really want to know more about sa pag transfer other than the processes kasi pinaghahandaan ko na s'ya. Applying po for BES since yun lang pinaka close sa course ko, taking BSED in a public college.

Ask ko lang po if may na-rreject kaya here sa admission? Gusto ko na talaga makawala sa school na'to plssss! About po sa TOR, dapat po ba complete na yung grades both 1st and 2nd sem sa current school ko? 'Di pa kasi tapos exams namin and afaik tentative deadline ng submission is sa May 30... medyo natatakot em considering the time and preparations ackkk...

Pls respond po, if you have any additional things like babala or i should do, pls let me know po! THANK U 😍🌻
