How to do a hidden walk in pantry with ikea cabinets

This was my second ikea kitchen I built with a hidden walk in pantry. To do so buy the 90” tall cabs and cut them down to 85 in. Do this to however many you have connected to it. I had 3 plus an over fridge cab. Connect the two doors and build toe kicks out of cover panels that connect to the bottom of them with 1/4 in gap from the floor so they will swing open freely. See pic 2. Not the prettiest but works well.

On the cab that you will walk through leave off the bottom. On the others glue and screw in the bottoms. Build them line 80” cabs with a 5” gap at the bottom and cut toe kicks out of cover panels making sure exposed sides are finished. Because there are no 100” cover panels I used doors on the edges. Also had to not use the hanging rail and make the connecting brackets flush with the back of cabinets so doors would fully cover the sides. I’m happy with it.

3rd pick is whole kitchen but can’t see the coffee bar in the other corner. Total cost under 20k with quartz counters included. Thank you ikea!!!

I made these a total of 105” tall. They are 90” cabs cut toe kicks 85 then a 20” tall on top.
