Thoughts and feelings?

Saw someone post about these, “everyone” in the comments seemed to be happy with them
What do you think?

Looking for something to boost / assist in weight loss that isn’t an Ozempic costing $700
Any suggestions?

Caught Misty moo accepting scritches for the first time on vid!! 💖

Misty has always been so shy, I’ve only had her for 4-5 months and have always tried to get her comfortable with scritches and she’s always hissed and gotten scared - today I noticed her putting her head down and asking for scritches so I tried and wallah!! So proud of her 🥹

She was deeeppp in it 😂

Hi, I’ve just noticed Misty’s beak, she’s a 5mo cockatiel and I feel that the bottom of her beak looks a little funny - is it chipped or suppose to look like that? And inside her beak I see some sort of exposed skin? The two little “fang” looking things - Is that normal?

This tank has been sitting with just snails in it for a couple months now and these have randomly been found, what are they? They zip around so fast, there’s also little dot looking bugs zipping around too (super tiny, like a grain of sand) and these guys I know people in this group are super knowledgeable, does anyone know what these are? Are they harmful?

Hi! Recently my Misty had gotten super attached to her reflection in the mirror and was flock calling when I decided to cut her interaction with her reflection, she’s okay now but it’s made me want to get her a friend because I know she really wants one.

When I brought her from the handheld breeding company in my city she was caged with her sister in her five months there, so I feel that she misses having another bird with her, and it would also make me feel better whilst working knowing she isn’t alone and I don’t have to keep talking to her through my camera 😂 🤦‍♀️

she’s only five months old and I was wondering - is it better to get another baby bird? Around her age or does it not matter what age I buy?

Another thing, Is it almost definite that if I got a boy (Misty is a girl) they would mate? I just don’t have the time to give the eggs the care they need as I can’t be taking work off ect and raising baby birds all the time - so it would probably be best if I got a girl to go with Misty (is this okay?)

I have a second cage I will be able to quarantine the new bird and and slowly introduce them by having the cages near one another in the same room - is this how I should be going about it?

I would just love anyone who has had one bird and introduced a second to let me know what it might be like and what to expect and also to just give some advice - will they usually get along, especially if they’re both around 5 months old, will Misty ignore me if I get her a friend, any warnings or just plain advice I would LOVE!!

What do you think? 😊

(I’ve attached pics of my cage)
