Opinion Ashm last needs refinement in heel

Personally I dont need anything wider than the ashm last and I like the narrower look over the other options.. I own a pair of razorbacks and a pair of vellies.

The razorback fit has been fine broken in but the heel in the vellies have never been all that secure since its a shorter design. even after broken in.. if you look at the different lasts it seems like they all have the exact same heel shape with just the forefoot narrowing.

On the narrow chance (pun intended) someone from JIm green sees this! Please consider refining the heel design on your shoes. Most sneakers have good heel design and the bennefits with jim green is more width elsewhere! If these had just a bit more support to secure the heel the ashm last would be absolutely perfect. I CANT BE THE only one who notices this, if you agree please upvote or leave opinions below

My new summer boot! Still breaking them in . So far very pleased.

I switched to leather laces, more comfortable to tie real tight, as the heel is sloppy at first.

The ashm last is plenty wide for me and looks sleeker. I hope they offer more stock shoes in this last, especially in north America.. Hard to recommend this boot to someone when they'd have to order custom to get the narrow last and pay imports.

Glad I went with the tyre wedge. I have the black tyre wedge on my custom razorbacks.

With the leather midsole & shank its a bottom heavy shoe. I wanted a boot feel thats breathable and sturdy, this checked all the boxes.
