Everest from Kathmandu Valley? Sighting from Dhapakhel, Lalitpur [Coordinates: 27.641442, 85.328061]
Many locals and enthusiasts claim it is almost impossible to view Mount Everest from within the Kathmandu Valley floor. However, based on line-of-sight calculations, and with the help of Google Earth, I believe I have documented Mount Everest from Dhapakhel, Lalitpur. Feedback appreciated.
Edit: Early morning shot taken today 19/08/2026 and the other mid day shot was taken back in Nov 2025
