Fun challenge to try and figure out how to fill this wide of a canvas, critiques as always are welcomed 🙏
Finished this one today, second pic is from around when I started in February this year. A lot of time, patience, and money dedicated to growing my skills - 100% worth it. I’ve had so much fun being separated from my worries, work, and from the meaningless doom scrolling that I’ve wasted days of my life doing. Feels like the first time I’ve put towards being a true learner since I graduated. Thanks for viewing!
Worked hard on this one and used more paint than I normally would’ve. Im happy about this one so hopefully i will stop trying to stretch my small tubes for eternity.
Been posting a lot of my paintings and I really appreciate the kind words and I love connecting with others that share this passion, such cool pieces in this community!
Michael’s had 40% off yesterday so got a few new toys - biggest being that I upgraded from one of those $6 table easels that wobble like crazy - I can’t believe the difference it makes not having to secure your easel with every brush stroke 😄
I’m trying to extend past my comfort areas with my pieces. Please critique and go all in, I’m wanting to find the things to focus on for my next few paintings for practice!
Basically the title, i can do sky, mountains, and water with no problem. Always get stuck here, any ideas on highlight colors or ways to fill the space?
I cannot stand the tree on the left, Going to work on developing my skills with filling in big empty dark spaces next. Otherwise, broke out of my mountains and ocean only pierces.
