Elation is a weird path

The entire path seems needlessly convoluted, if they just wanted to sell lightcones half of the weirdness is unnecessary. From punchline, to CB, to buff duration when half the units run speed, to elation being a stat itself. Its so much to add on top of normal kit design.

People pulled Silverwolf and realised they made her kit with specific holes that eidolons fix. Sparxie has ok damage and ok buffs, its like she's a worse Evernight. It's pretty obvious she was made for V1 atk scaling silverwolf and struggles to justify her place when silverwolf got changes, its why people who invested in her feel upset when she is competing with EMC and a main dps.

Yao's entire kit outside of her 4 turn ult is so underwhelming, especially when you look at MBlade or Robinetto. It feels like they only just recently figured out what they want elation to be, like aventurine being speed scaling and providing buffs.

It feels bad to have already invested in elation when it was kinda half baked and so now people are hoping Pearl is gonna have buffs to fix each units specific kit issues and also be super strong forgetting she is a sustain. The worse case is they just make Nihilux a main dps who has more damage and none of the issues of previous elation main dps.

Aglaea was an example of being left behind once they decided what the path was about, with hp scaling for example, but that was 1 out of 6 units. I could honestly understand if both Sparxie and Yao are gonna be left behind by the time they figure out what the hell elation even is. Pearl is gonna have to be the weirdest unit man.
