Hey all, my dad was diagnosed with CLL, and SLL on the 4th of july.
CLL is Stage 3
and we are waiting on a sit down with the doctor in december but the SLL seems to be advanced stages and is progressive. almost all lymph nodes in his body are about the size of a baseball some smaller and his liver or spleen is pressing on his stomach due to enlargement.
My dad also was diagnosed and has been living with MS (multiple sclerosis) for the last 18 years or more
I’ve tried to do some research and cannot figure out what time he may have, and i’m curious if anyone has suggestions on where to look for more information , or knew or know someone in a similar situation who may be able to give me a ballpark range.
THIS IS NOT Solicitation OF MEDICAL ADVISE! Just a guy looking for some sense of grounding in the situation and a sense of how long i might have.
Thanks for everything guys,
and im sorry that anyone has to deal with this crap
So it was brought to my attention lately that the way i was lifting was in correct.
i should start out by saying im a 31yo M and not out of shape but definitely not in amazing shape especily muscle wise. i had undiagnosed Low T for a long while, which is now being treated.
So i had always been told high weight low reps was rather interchangeable with some differences isn purpose for each one, so i took the high weight low reps. well i was always told for low reps its 3 sets of 10.
I was recently informed by a professional low reps is 3-5, so i wonder am i going to make more progress doing it the way i have or should i change my method incase i do damage.
i should note after leg and arm days i do feel very worked out but not completely wrecked.
